Servicing areas throughout Rancho Park, including:
Rancho Park is a small, residential community located in the Westside area of Los Angeles, California. As opposed to much of Los Angeles and its surrounding cities, Rancho Park is a relaxed enclave that comprises primarily single-family homes and quaint, tree-lined streets.
Once part of neighboring Westwood, this community split off from its parent in the 1930s after the completion of Olympic Boulevard. Olympic Boulevard split the community almost in two between north and south. The northern portion kept the name Westwood while the southern section became what today is known as Rancho Park.
Sawtelle to the west, Cheviot Hills to the east, Westside Village to the south and Westwood to the north bound the community.
Today, the Park is home to approximately 5,400 hundred people with a median income of $78,116 as of 2010. The neighborhood is primarily comprised of middle class homes built in the 1920s with some of these older homes seeing recent remodeling and renovation to modernize and expand existing floor plans. The style of homes in the area is generally either Spanish Colonial or California Ranch.
The middle-class population lends a distinctively suburban feel to the neighborhood. Other than Pico Boulevard, the streets are quiet making this an excellent area for those with young families or those looking to downsize and take it easy in their later years.
All told, this area is a lovely community that is a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of nearby Los Angeles.
